We have the following set of questions pertaining to Google+ content Migration:

1. We have submitted a request for download of Google+ content as before through Google Accounts. We never needed to migrate the content unlike this time. If we were to migrate the zip file that is generated in html format to another server, would we need to do anything different to make all the content go live in the new server? Would the display, design, and content be presented in the same form?

2. We have an extensive collection of communities that we own, primarily developed by our company, but all the content is public. We don't see any of those communities, except for two at the time of migration. For that matter, those communities are not even displayed on some of the devices, except for android smartphones. How could we retrieve those data? As we utilize other types of devices and platforms for migration, we would like to get access to those content even in those devices. Would these data be part of the zip file that we will be getting from download; though it is not displayed in all platforms and devices?

3. We had submitted the recent request for download of content two days back, and still have not received the zip file. This kind of duration to receive the download is unusually long, and we would like to know the normal turnaround time for such requests.

Your prompt response will be appreciated.

  1. Right.....
I've been here on this platfrom from very early on. And supporting users from Day 1.
I know what social spam is, and what it looks like.

But it doesn't matter. The platform is being shuttered to public users.
Your content is just reshares, or from my observations spam.
It's pointless saving it, as there isn't enough original content from my observations, for it to have any value going forward.

    But as I said.
    Good Luck with that.

  2. Edward Morbius thanks for your support.

In a way, Kamal's post coming out of his views helped to understand another perspective. Though all perspectives need not be correct, it is always good to know how different people think, analyze, and present the same situation.

Neither one had to block the other in this platform, at least from my perspective. It is a big world, and there are close to eight billion people out on Earth. We can just move on to find similar minded people, who are in our wavelength..
